Yep, I have hit a little blip. I am back to 289 and looking at my past few days. I see several things that have hurt me the past 4 days:
1. Water intake: I have probably not taken in the water my body needs over the past few days. In particular, yesterday I probably only took in 60-70 ounces of water. I should be taking in at least ½ ounce of water per pound of body weight per day and up to 2/3 ounce per pound on very active days.
2. I have not been as active the past four days with only one hard workout.
3. My niece’s/God Child’s graduation party was a lot of fun yesterday, BUT I probably took in 1670 calories of ribs and BBQ pork over a 3 hour period. I am not really sure how many carbs were in the ribs and pork with the sauce they had on them.
As you can see, I have some correcting to do. The bad news is I felt sluggish and had some stomach issues this morning with the amount of meat I ate yesterday. The good news is I am still down 62 pounds.
I will make sure to get into the gym today. I will make sure to work out regularly this week as I prepare to start Camp Kemo next weekend. I will pay more attention to my water intake!!
HEY! It is all about the journey. I know that there will be ups and downs. I just need to continue to have a positive attitude and not let the downs consume me.
