The last 10 days I have been up and down around 90 pounds of weight loss. I am a little concerned about this plateau but not discouraged. Today is the 5 month anniversary of what Polly (my wife) calls my epiphany. I started all of this on March 2nd and sitting here typing on August 2nd I did not expect to be down almost 90 pounds (88.6). That is 17.72 pounds per month over the last 5 months. I will take that!!
Over the past 10 days my carbs are up a little with the fruit, nuts and low carb tortillas. My calorie intake has not been bad except for yesterday and Thursday. I treated myself to ribs again yesterday and had some benne wafers at my niece’s birthday party. I also took 3 days off from working out this week.
I got back in the gym yesterday and went again today! It felt great. I continue to focus on my water intake each day which I feel helps to keep me on track. Also, Polly just got back in town after spending 10 days in Louisville with our niece, Elizabeth. I think it will be easier for me to get back in a routine with her here.
